Route
Leh → Nubra → Turtuk → Siachen → Pangong → Hanle → Umling La → Tso Moriri → LehRide to the Warriors’ Land is a thrilling 15 Days / 14 Nights expedition that takes you deep into Ladakh’s raw and majestic landscapes — with a patriotic twist. This exclusive journey leads you to the iconic Siachen Base Camp, the highest battlefield in the world, offering an experience that few have ever dared to undertake.
Begin your adventure in Leh, where you’ll acclimatize and explore the town’s ancient and cultural landmarks like Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and local markets buzzing with Ladakhi life. From there, gear up for the high-mountain challenges ahead.
Your journey continues over the formidable Khardung La (17,982 ft) into the ethereal Nubra Valley. Explore Diskit Monastery, ride double-humped camels across the Hunder dunes, and make your way to Turtuk – a frontier village with rich Balti culture just short of the Pakistan border.
From Turtuk, the path leads further north toward the legendary Siachen Base Camp. Reserved for only a few civilians each year, this visit gives you a rare chance to salute the brave hearts who serve in extreme conditions, and witness India's military might at the world’s highest and coldest battlefield.
The ride then picks up its Himalayan pace as you traverse the Shyok Valley to reach Pangong Lake — a cinematic wonder known for its surreal beauty and ever-changing hues. Next, push into the remote and star-studded skies of Hanle, home to India’s highest astronomical observatory.
Your warrior spirit is tested once again as you ascend Umling La (19,024 ft), the highest motorable road in the world. Riding here is not just an achievement — it’s a badge of honor.
Wind down through tranquil landscapes as you make your way to the turquoise waters of Tso Moriri Lake, where nomadic life and untouched Himalayan beauty welcome you. The return to Leh takes you through the mineral-rich terrain of Puga Valley, the white flats of Tso Kar, and the stunning Tanglang La Pass.
Back in Leh, enjoy leisure time to explore cultural gems like Hemis, Thiksey, and Shey Monasteries, along with Stok Palace and the famous Rancho School. A buffer day ensures flexibility for weather or personal exploration.
This once-in-a-lifetime journey blends adventure, patriotism, and pristine Himalayan landscapes — giving you memories that are as fierce as the winds at Siachen and as serene as the waters of Tso Moriri.
